Summary of the Position:
The Developer Technology Intern will be responsible for several projects that are vital to the success of the Genesys SDKs, the Developer Community, and communication across diverse internal and external teams.
Responsibilities:
In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Participate and moderate for developer forums.
Make a DVD capture of developer content.
Make a DVD for a Developer Environment (vmware image) that we can distribute to developers.
Take the lead on logistics and act as a facilitator for one of the breakout sessions of the SDK Summit.
Assist with logistics and content for developer webinars.
Research and suggest ideas to enhance DevZone and the developer community.
Create a mapping of SDK customers/partners with completed developer agreements and contact sales to get missing ones signed.
Work with Engineering Support Office to devise a plan/process that eliminates PM control on most developer material items.
Create and launch a new developer survey.
Work with Finance to simplify Cognos data retrieval for SDKs/Connectors.
Qualifications:
1+ years coursework or experience in English writing.
1+ years experience using Windows, Unix/Linux, and/or MAC operating systems and applications.
Knowledge of installing complex software.
Knowledge of using VMWare or similar product.
1+ years college-level coursework or experience in Computer Science or similar.
Assertive, outgoing, team player.
