Our client, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies, seeks a Corporate Transactions Counsel who will be responsible for content and technology licensing and other general contract matters for on-air and online operational needs.
Essential functions will include: General contract/licensing work with an emphasis on new media and technology matters, including, for example, web hosting agreements, license agreements and on-line ad sales agreements; Responsible for content and technology licensing and other general contract matters for various on-air and online operational needs, including but not limited to multi-platform ad sales, news, entertainment websites, promotions and local TV station content
Must be currently employed as a transactional attorney in a major law firm or corporate law department and have 4-7 years experience in general contract/licensing work, with at least 4 years of law firm experience and a minimum of 2 years experience in new media transactional matters. JD, State Bar and excellent academic credentials also required.
