Position: The Beijing office is seeking a senior level attorney with 8+ years experience in M&A, FDI, venture capital and/or international trade for a partner position.
Company: This U.S.-based AmLaw 100 international firm has an extensive China practice focused on international capital markets and M&A work, including public offerings and LBOs. Clients include private equity funds and multinational corporations in a broad range of industries. Asian-Counsel recently awarded the firms Hong Kong office with Firm of the Year honors for 2008 in two categories: Commercial Transactions and M&A. The firms commitment to the region is evidenced by the addition earlier this year of two partners and a team of associates to the Beijing office.
Requirements: Written Mandarin language fluency and outstanding English verbal skills required. Strong U.S. background, including top law school and strong law firm experience, required. Book of portable business required. U.S./U.K./Australian qualification required.
