Super Warehouse is looking for intern applicants in the San Diego, CA area. This is an unpaid internship.
This is the ideal position for a motivated, quick learner who is goal oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
As a content specialist intern at SWH, you would be involved in many phases of the review, creation and/or acquisition of content for applications, platforms, online communications that support media that support our initiatives, newsletters, and much more.
Here is an example of some of the duties and what you would learn:
- Conduct online research, including content, emerging trends and/or technology, etc.
- Monitor web traffic-related metrics for statistics and content improvement / development.
- Write/edit content for our website.
- Contribute to the process of the content design.
- You'll gain valuable insights into the effective web design and layout while supporting the Super Warehouse team.
- Collaborate closely with the web designer, managers and content team to produce email campaigns, banner ads, site designs, landing pages and other related items.
- Learn how to prioritize, edit and develop sills needed to be a successful content specialist.
Requirements:
- 3-month commitment with a minimum of 16-24 hours per week.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and Image Ready (Flash knowledge a plus)
- Working towards a degree at an accredited college.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while working both independently and as part of a team.
- Possesses excellent writing skills
- Proficient with MS Office and HTML
- Visual creativity a plus
- Knowledge of SEO a plus
