ifour is a general management consulting firm located in Tysons Corner, Virginia. We help clients, primarily in the Federal market, to improve their business through strategy, management & business development consulting, and market/competitive analysis. ifour is looking for consultants to perform on client engagements and help build our business.
Consultant responsibilities grow with experience but initially include: - conducting primary and secondary research and analysis of the government market or other markets to identify opportunities and understand important trends,
- gathering competitive intelligence to assess client positioning in a particular market or for a given opportunity,
- performing quantitative analysis to assess the size and scope of markets,
- develop insights and strategies for growing clients' revenue,
- developing thoughtfully structured and compelling deliverable documents, and presenting them to clients, and
- developing databases and other knowledge-bases to support consulting activities.
Candidates for this position must have: - 2-5 years of experience in strategy/management consulting or market research,
- significant, demonstrable experience consulting to or performing research on Information Technology or other high-tech industries,
- drive to be successful, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, creativity and an ability to thrive in an unstructured, deadline-driven environment,
- strong quantitative abilities and modeling/database manipulation skills,
- strong writing and presentation skills, and
- track record of successful performance, backed up by references.
Successful candidates likely also display one or more of the following characteristics: - strong Information Technology, engineering and/or other technical experience,
- degree and/or other formal training in a business/finance discipline,
- experience with market sizing, segmentation and other analysis,
- experience in developing pricing intelligence analysis including rate buildup, and/or
- strong knowledge of Federal government contracting and market, including experience performing open-source research on Federal opportunities and contractors.
