Our client, a global energy company operating in 145 countries, seeks a Legal Counsel to provide general legal advice, support and counseling to the companyCBCBs lubricants business in the US, which would include Lubricant's business-to-business, car care, and
procurement businesses. Key Accountabilities Include: Counseling the clients on these topics, as well as significant contract negotiation, drafting and interacting with distributors, manufacturers and product suppliers; Maintaining the provision of high quality, timely and cost effective legal advice and support to the Oil Products Business and other clients as assigned.
Must have 7-10 years experience as a transactional attorney in a major law firm or corporate law department, as well as, knowledge of the lubricants business or a strong interest in learning the business and general knowledge of anti-trust, commercial products liability, credit collection, contract and corporate law. Excellent academic credentials from a top tier law school. JD and TX Bar membership (or ability to waive into TX) also required.
