Our client, a major international financial services company seeks a consumer lending and general contracts attorney for the New York office. The attorney will work closely with the Education Finance business unit to ensure processes, procedures and forms meet business objectives and are in compliance with applicable federal and state laws governing consumer financing; draft, review and negotiate contracts in support of the business; participate on business teams to provide legal support for new programs and processes; draft consumer contracts and ancillary forms.
Must have 5+ years of consumer lending related and general contract experience as well as experience in contract review and negotiation. Working knowledge of TILA, FCRA and ECOA also required. Education Finance experience a plus. Excellent academic credentials from a top tier law school. JD and NY Bar membership also required.
