Our client, a major financial services company seeks a lawyer to join the Institutional Investment Management legal team in Columbus, OH. The attorney should have at least three years of work experience relevant to asset management, including knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act, general securities law and ERISA. The attorney should expect a broad range of asset management assignments, including contract negotiations, regulatory advice and general representation of the product and sales teams in Columbus, Cincinnati and Chicago. Additional work with the product and sales teams in New York, including work on structuring and advising on non-registered investment funds, also is anticipated.
Must have 3+ years of asset management experience, including knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act, general securities law and ERISA; High energy, solid judgment and strong problem solving skills; Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school;
Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
