Our client, a major energy company is seeking an Antitrust/Regulatory Attorney or Senior Legal Counsel to provide antitrust advice; Handle trade and other cross-business regulatory issues; Provide representation/advice for the companyCBCBs US businesses in regard to US federal and state antitrust law and foreign competition law as they relate to transactions (including mergers, acquisitions, divestments and joint ventures); and Provide antitrust counseling and present compliance training sessions to client groups. The attorney will also work closely with other antitrust/competition lawyers in Houston, London and The Hague. The position is located in Houston.
Must have 7-10 years experience as an antitrust attorney in a major law firm or corporate law department. Must also be willing to learn trade and other regulatory matters. Excellent academic credentials, JD and TX Bar membership (or ability to waive into TX) also required.
