Position: This major international firm is seeking a mid-level (3-6 years) corporate transactional attorney for its Shanghai office.
Company: This US-based AmLaw 100 international law firm is the top energy firm in the world and has a superior platform in Asia and the Middle East focused on international corporate transactional, banking, finance, oil & gas, and projects work. The firm is recommended by Asia Pacific Legal 500 for projects and corporate/M&A work in Hong Kong and China and also ranked #1 in Energy M&A by number of transactions 2007 by SNL Financial for the second year in a row. In addition, the firm worked on Oil & Gas Investor's 2007 "M&A Deal of the Year." The firm has high profits per partner and offers both equity and non-equity partnership.
Requirements: Ideal candidate has energy/oil & gas related experience, but neither is required. US JD and major international law firm experience is heavily preferred. Mandarin language skills preferred, but not necessary for outstanding candidates.
