Chicago, IL | 2017 | VERIFIED INTERN

Uppers

Great environment, work-life balance, not much emphasis on "Face-time culture" just for the sake of face-time without getting work done
Strong mentorship structure, including senior bankers who will take the time to get to know you on a personal level, get lunch with you etc. to make sure you're having a positive experience
Appropriately challenging work for interns with a lot of flexibility to take on more responsibilities if need be

Downers

Could have more intern activities

Advice to Potential Interns

Chicago, IL | 2017 | VERIFIED INTERN

Uppers

Getting fully immersed within active and live deals.

Downers

As an intern, it is largely illegal to communicate with the client. This was sometimes a limiting factor in the full exposure to the analyst role.

Advice to Potential Interns

Blair is absolutely one of the top investment banks in the world. Definitely learn about what the sell-side m&a process looks like.
