The relationships I built with my team were great. They were very helpful and respectful throughout my entire experience. They truly made it their responsibility to help me gain the most from my time at Union Bank.

Downers

The length of the internship was a bit extensive (4 months) and some days had less work than others. I could have done more.

Advice to Potential Interns

The people at Union Bank, the opportunities provided to me through networking and meeting those outside of my department, the opportunity to learn a lot about the banking sector

Downers

I wish there had been more opportunity to network with fellow interns and I wish we had done more intern activities. We had two networking events, one that was very successful and another that was not. The intern program was experiencing re-organization and for this reason was disorganized. If UB had presented a more organized intern program it would have been great

Advice to Potential Interns

Network as much as possible while at the bank, work within your department to leverage outside contacts, work hard it will definitely be noticed!

Would You Recommend

Yes

A worthwhile experience in the headquarter t of a bank

The active communication between peer interns as well as the atmosphere of the care from supervisors and hiring managers.

Downers

The communication process takes longer time than expected, I'd often get confused about assignments.

Advice to Potential Interns

For the potential interns, I believe the best way to get familiar with an agency is trying to contact the current workers there. And communicate with the supervisor to have a broader view about the current status of a company and the career path of you in a company.
