About PG&E Summer Intern Program

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is one of the largest combination natural gas and electric utilities in the United States. There are approximately 20,000 employees who carry out Pacific Gas and Electric Company's primary business-the transmission and delivery of energy. PG&E provides natural gas and electric service to approximately 15 million people throughout a 70,000-square-mile service area in northern and central California. PG&E interns have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects throughout the company with a focus on engineering internships in our core operations. Interns work in headquarters and in field locations and work closely with PG&E professionals. Facility tours, an executive speaker series, and a poster presentation assist interns in learning more about the company. Internships typically last 10 to 12 weeks and include a competitive salary, paid company holidays, and relocations stipends. Interns are paid on an hourly basis twice a month and are eligible for overtime. Median intern pay is $22/hour.
