About American Repertory Theatre

The American Repertory Theatre is a professional, residential theater company based at Harvard University's Loeb Drama Center.  Its permanent ensemble concentrates on classic texts reformatted for contemporary audiences, neglected works of the past and new, primarily American, works.  The company produces many performances throughout the year and tours worldwide.  The American Repertory Theatre has also established a similar company in Moscow.

Interns in this program are closely supervised, preparing them for a career in the performing arts.  Production internships are offered in stage management, production management, lighting, sound, scenery, costumes, paint, properties and running crew.  Administrative internships work in artistic management, box office, financial management, fundraising/development, house management, literary management, and marketing and public relations.
