About Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Summer Internship Program

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals offers internship opportunities for students to gain hands-on, real-world experience in the biotechnology industry. Internship opportunities are for Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. students. We seek students who are passionate about pursuing a career in research, clinical & drug development and/or business. Interns are involved in important projects related to business initiatives and receive guidance from Regeneron employees. Regeneron has an extensive Summer Internship Program as well as occasional internships during the school year for local interns.

Enrolled in or accepted to an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. (degree not completed)

Summer interns must be able to commit to 8-12 weeks on a full-time basis

Many of our interns move to Westchester for a summer internship (Interns are responsible for their own relocation expenses)

Summer internships are from mid-May until late-August (timeframe varies by intern)

Fall/Spring semester internship schedules may vary

Recruitment for summer internships begins in January

Resume review, candidate interviews, and candidate selections occur between February - April

Summer Program Activities:

Summer Seminar Series - Throughout the summer, interns are provided with opportunities to hear from Regeneron's senior management team. The purpose of the Seminar Series is to provide students with an overview of Regeneron from drug discovery to commercialization and to help interns see how their projects fit into the big picture

Career Development - Interns are offered workshops on resume building and interview skills as well as networking opportunities with employees at various levels and from different business functions. Interns' presentation skills are also strengthened as there are many opportunities to present on summer projects at department meetings or larger company-wide events.

Social Events - Social events such as picnics or ice-cream socials are scheduled as a way for interns to have fun and get to know each other

Volunteer events -Regeneron in the Community (RIC) focuses on providing in-kind gifts of time, energy and volunteer services. Interns, along with Regeneron employees, will have multiple opportunities to participate in community activities throughout the summer
