About Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation is the charitable division of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which oversees the Emmy® Awards. The California-based organization provides support to those seeking careers in television through a variety of programs, such as the College Television Awards, the Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship Program, its internship program, a seminar for media educators, a visiting professionals program. The foundation also supports the Archive of American Television, which features more than 700 interviews with television luminaries. 

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation offers dozens of internships to students seeking real-life experience in professional television production. Interns are placed in a number of host organizations, such as CBS, The Disney Channel, E! Entertainment, Fox TV Studios, NBC Universal, Sony Pictures Imageworks, and Warner Bros. Focus areas range from agency to animation to broadcast news to casting to children's programming to cinematography to costume design to digital entertainment to editing to legal to live event production to made-for-television movies to marketing to on-air promotion to production management to programming to public relations to scriptwriting to television directing, and more.

Eligibility

Undergraduate (sophomore year and above) and graduate students are welcome to apply. Recent graduates may be eligible for certain positions. Open to non-US citizens.
