About Protective Life Corporation

In 1907, Governor William Dorsey Jelks founded Protective Life Insurance Company. More than 100 years later, this flagship company is now joined by Protective Life and Annuity Insurance Company, West Coast Life Insurance Company, and Lyndon Insurance Group, Inc. and Affiliates--all of which are subsidiaries of Protective Life Corporation. Protective Life's Bridges Internship Program offers interns the chance to complete meaningful projects that are important to the company. They learn the ins-and-outs of Protective Life's business through weekly business presentations by senior executives and presentations by former interns who now work at the company full time. In addition, interns attend a luncheon with the company's CEO at the conclusion of the program. Protective Life also caters to out-of-town interns by partnering with the Birmingham Business Alliance's Young Professional Initiative to offer interns activities and information on the local area.

Eligibility

Open to college juniors and seniors, recent graduates, graduate students, and MBA candidates. Mid-career applicants are also welcome to apply. A GPA of at least 3.0 /3.1 is required.
