A Fortune 15 Global Company, McKesson is the largest health care company in the world and the 15th largest company in the United States. Founded in 1853 as Olcott & McKesson, the company began as a wholesaler of botanical drugs and grew to create the first national drug distribution system. Today, McKesson distributes pharmaceuticals, develops health care IT systems and provides physician support software for its customers all over the world. Internships are available in an array of departments, including sales, legal, marketing, services, support and development and human resources. Most interns work on project-based key business initiatives, exposing them to many aspects of the business and requiring them to use a variety of skills.

Eligibility

Open to rising college juniors and seniors, and master's students. All interns must be enrolled in a four-year university and have a declared major. Students majoring in computer science, information technology, industrial engineering, health information management, finance and accounting, marketing, business management, mechanical engineering or a related field are encouraged to apply. A GPA of 3.5 and previous related internship experience are preferred.
