The Internship Program at Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc. provides mentoring, education, and practical learning experiences for interns interested in gaining insight into a fashion industry leader renowned for its unique New York style and social conscience. The Program has three sessions per year (Spring, Summer, Fall), each approximately 10-13 weeks in duration, and internships are located in the New York and New Jersey corporate offices. Intern responsibilities vary based on placement in the following departments:
• Marketing: Public Relations, Archiving/Library Science, Creative Services, Corporate Communications, Advertising/Media, Graphic Design
• Wholesale: Product Development, Footwear, Handbags, & Children's
• Design Services: Accessories, Handbags, Footwear, Apparel, Merchandising
• Licensing: International & Domestic
• Consumer Direct: Buying & Planning, Visual
• Finance & Accounting (New Jersey Office only)
• Information Technology
• Human Resources

While participating in an in-depth immersion in the business, interns also benefit from high-level networking opportunities, luncheon lectures with CEO Paul Blum and Chairman and Chief Creative Officer Kenneth Cole, a senior speaker series focused on career pathing, special Company events, educational workshops on resume writing and interviewing, and a design competition with prizes awarded by Kenneth Cole himself. True to the spirit of the Company, which has made a name for itself through the fusion of fashion and social activism, the Internship Program at Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc. also includes a day of community service, which both furthers an important aim of the company and deepens peer relationships.
Interns are provided with reimbursement for daily commuting expenses ($10/day max), a 50% merchandise discount and free meals at the company's on-site café ($10/day max). The Program also partners with schools to ensure that interns receive college credit, if desired.
