About SAIC Intern Program

SAIC is a FORTUNE 500® scientific, engineering, and technology applications company that uses its deep domain knowledge to solve problems of vital importance to the nation and the world, in national security, energy & environment, health and cybersecurity.

The SAIC Intern Program is a robust program that straddles several different functional areas for students. The Program is managed by our Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise and strives to provide our interns with the tools they will need to excel in the professional workplace and contribute to their communities post-college. In addition to gaining experience working in an office environment, they attend weekly seminars, complete a community service project, and participate in a joint problem solving exercise at the yearly intern summit.

We average 200-300 interns each year from over 90 different colleges and universities. The majority of interns are located in the DC Metro Area; however, we have interns in many locations throughout the United States.

Intern Program Components:
* Intern specific orientation
* Weekly lunchtime seminars during the summer
* Health benefits
* Training opportunities
* Performance reviews conducted at the end of the internship
* SharePoint collaboration site to network and collaborate with interns across the company
* Social committee participation opportunities
* Volunteer committee participation opportunities
* Paid internships (biweekly)

The Intern Summit is the biggest intern event of the year. It is an offsite for interns which provides the opportunity to network; experience as much of the organization as possible; attend professional development sessions; engage with management; take part in social events that bolster the company's mission; develop relationships with other interns, full-time employees, and mentors; and much more.
