BP America Intern and Co-op Program Internship

VAULT RANKINGS >> #1 Best Overall Internships

BP America is one of the world's leading international oil and gas companies. Through our work we provide customers with fuel for transportation, energy for heat and light, lubricants to keep engines moving, and the petrochemicals products used to make everyday items as diverse as paints, clothes and packaging. We work to attract, motivate, develop and retain the best talent from the diversity the world offers and believe that success comes from the energy of our people. Through living our values of Safety, Respect, Excellence, Courage and One Team, we create an inclusive work environment where everyone can make a difference and give their best.

Each year we recruit talented students from many diverse backgrounds to join us in summer programs that could potentially lead to full time jobs. Our internship and co-op programs give students real-world work experience by involving them in real-life projects. From working alongside geologists searching for natural gas in rural Colorado or learning about how a refinery is run at our Cherry Point facility in Washington State, BP interns experience the breadth of exciting and important work being done at our company. Throughout the 6-12 week program (6 months for co-ops), students work directly beside the industry's brightest engineers, geologists, and other energy experts-gaining valuable experience and insight, all while developing professionally and learning more about BP's values and culture. Intern and co-op opportunities are available nationwide including cities in Texas, Illinois, Alaska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Ohio, Washington State, Wyoming, California and more. We offer a highly competitive compensation package and a work environment that encourages creativity and recognizes and develops individual abilities.
