SDG Graduate Intern Program Internship

Strategic Decisions Group (SDG) is a leading strategy consulting firm serving the Global 2000. SDG is renowned for its expertise in strategic decision-making, risk management, and shareholder value creation. Through a collaborative, team-based approach, we help clients find innovative, creative strategies to thrive today, while also helping them build internal competencies and more effective decision-making processes to meet competitive challenges in the future.

SDG provides internships of one academic quarter up to one year so that graduate students in business and engineering can experience what a full-time consulting position is like.

Consultant interns are fully participating team members on client projects. They assess the client's business, industry, and competitors; interview executives; develop and evaluate strategies via financial and business modeling; and prepare and deliver client presentations. Through mentoring and knowledge sharing, consultant interns develop a complete understanding of SDG's approach to strategy consulting, a working knowledge of financial methods, and the ability to interact effectively with clients. As consultants gain proficiency in these core skills, their responsibilities increase to include managing client meetings and leading client teams.

The ideal candidate not only is bright, creative, principled, highly motivated, and disciplined, but also has excellent business, analytic, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. The ability to facilitate client change is a plus.
