HP is the world's largest provider of information technology infrastructure, software, services, and solutions to individuals and organizations of all sizes. We are a $127 billion company with five major lines of business and nearly 350,000 people who work in 170 countries. Our portfolio spans servers, storage, networking, personal computing, imaging and printing, software, services, and solutions.

We bring the advantages of that scale, the breadth and depth of our portfolio, our innovation, and our competitiveness to our customers every day and in almost every country in the world.

The purpose of Hewlett-Packard's Intern Program is to recruit top university students for the intern program, and to develop these interns into regular HP hires upon graduation. A key objective of the program is the return of qualified interns to either a subsequent intern assignment or, in the case of graduating interns, a regular full-time position with HP. The program also facilitates early candidate identification of women and ethnic groups to support our efforts with diversity hiring. HP interns are located throughout the United States, Canada and Latin America. We offer compensation, benefits and some interns receive relocation packages. We also provide other perks to ensure that students receive a total enhanced experience. The duration of assignments vary although most of the interns are at HP during the summer months.
