The interns' responsibilities range from projects like planning auto shows, developing a diversity marketing strategy, organizing new vehicle launches, and sketch modeling design themes, to cost and market analyses, fleet management, and vehicle test drives. Besides acquiring basic project coordination competences, interns develop their analytical capabilities and improve their presentation skills, while also benefiting from getting exposure to various levels of the organization, participating in training classes, tech talks and meetings, and having the unique opportunity to be co-authors on invention disclosures for patent applications. In addition, interns can write their Bachelor's/Master's/PhD thesis during their internship, which allows them to relate their academic work to a real-world project with the support of our experts.

We reward our interns not only with competitive pay between $11.00/hour and $27.00/hour (dependent on education level and work location), but also with paid holidays, the lease car privilege (international interns only), relocation assistance (PhD interns only), eligibility for a discount on purchasing a VW or Audi model, travel opportunities, and social activities and events such as Intern Happy Hours, all-employee events, and free tickets to soccer games or concerts. Visa sponsorship will be provided for international interns.

Internships are located in Virginia, Michigan, California, Colorado, Tennessee, and Florida. Each location offers a unique work environment, but all of our offices share at least one common denominator of love and enthusiasm for our products.
