Bernstein-Rein Summer Internship Program

Bernstein-Rein Advertising, a dynamic 50 year old Kansas City-based, privately held agency, offers paid summer internships to students between their junior and senior years. Students are encouraged to maximize their potential in a warm, informal and welcoming environment. Students' applications should indicate a strong commitment to advertising and/or marketing or related disciplines, e.g. design, creative writing, etc. Among the benefits of the BR internship experience (and it is an experience!) is the opportunity to work with top professionals at a leading agency - and on real client work. In addition to client work, at the close of the eight-week program, interns present a group project to the company's top execs. Through five decades, BR has built well-known consumer brands like Wal-Mart, McDonald's, H&R Block, Blockbuster, Hostess, Stover Candies, Farmland, MetLife and PetSmart. Founder Bob Bernstein is recognized by McDonald's as the creator of the iconic 'Happy Meal'. The agency is now led by Steve Bernstein, Bob's son.
