Internship Requirements and Guidelines
Interns must be U.S. citizens or be legally authorized to work in

Interns must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of
2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale and be in good standing with their
academic institution (copy of transcripts are required prior to
date of hire).

A standard internship will last 6-12 weeks.
The standard Internship will begin in May of each calendar
Recruiting for internships begins in January of each calendar
Interns will work full-time hours (40 hours weekly) during the
Part-time hours during the spring/winter semesters are (10-15 hours
weekly). Part-time internships are not guaranteed and require
approval from the hiring manager.
The intern's field of study must be in alignment with the
department; (except Life Guard and Assistant Pool Manager
An intern cannot displace a regular employee or be used in the
place of a contractor. Interns are not guaranteed a full time
position at the end of the internship.
