How to Apply

Application Process

We have a very simple application process. All we require is that students fill out our online application at oshkoshcorp.com/careers. Any questions on the application process can be directed to our email:  collegerelations@oshkoshcorp.com.

We have the opportunity to meet most of our interns at the many campus events and activities that we participate in throughout the school year. This consistent presence from our campus teams provides students with the opportunity to build relationships with current employees and alumni, get their questions answered, and help prepare for their first days.

Application Deadline

Our primary recruitment time for the internship program is during the fall semester. However, we have positions open up on a rolling basis so recruitment for the internship program is ongoing.

Requirements

Interns are defined as college students currently enrolled in and pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university having previously completed their high school education.  Interns must be 18 years old at time employment starts and actively enrolled for the entire duration of their internship.

We primarily seek Junior or Senior grade level students and may give consideration to certain Sophomore students, depending on need, major and experience level.

Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is preferred.  Students must be a U.S. person or legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship as we do not provide sponsorship.

The purpose of the Oshkosh Corporation internship program is to create a pipeline of talent for the organization. For this reason, we look for students that are leaders and innovators. Students that challenge themselves to think outside the box, look for ways to continuously improve, and then drive positive change become extremely successful. Oshkosh has a fast-paced, team-centric culture and requires individuals to be strong communicators, team players, and possess the ability to balance many priorities at the same time. This challenge helps students develop both personally and professionally, and we look for students that will meet this opportunity head on.

Our summer internships run from May/June through August.  Co-ops are a 7-9 month commitment, and a year round internship is for students looking to work part time (20 hours per week) during the school year and full time in the summer.
