Requirements Across All Programs
•Students are recruited from an established group of core and
•The major field of study must align with the functional areas
where we have established and documented co-op programs.
•Undergraduate students must be sophomore or greater status,
completing at least 3 semesters of course work overall with
completion of at least one full semester of coursework within their
major. For example, a student who switches from a business major to
an engineering major after their sophomore year would not have the
core engineering classes that would help them be a successful
Research & Engineering co-op. Some programs require junior
•MBA students come in for an internship term after completion of
their first year in the MBA program.
•Cumulative GPA must be 3.0 or higher (Finance requires 3.2
cumulative GPA). Students with a GPA below 3.0 are not eligible for
our programs. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA to return for
•Students must have the ability to work within the US upon
graduation without visa sponsorship.
•1st term co-ops work a minimum of 5 months during a Spring or Fall
•"Summer Only" co-op positions are filled with and reserved for
returning co-op students, i.e. those who have already successfully
completed a minimum of one co-op term as referenced above. We do
not place first term co-ops in "summer only" opportunities.
Intern Program: This term is used primarily for our Marketing MBA,
Finance MBA and Customer Development/Sales programs.
•Participants in the MBA Intern Programs are students who have
completed their first year of the MBA program and meet the general
requirements listed above.
•Intern terms are summer only.
