Application Process

The D. Hilton Internship application process involves sending by email a resume demonstrating any past employment or volunteerism, or in the case where no work history exists, a curriculum vitae (CV) with school course history. The email must include a letter of interest in the internship program. If D. Hilton has an opening, a brief telephone interview or on-site interview is conducted in which candidates are asked about their habits and academic aspirations in order to gauge personality.

Requirements

Internships range from high school to college graduate. D. Hilton will consider interns from ages 15 (restricted) and older. For college interns, D. Hilton prefers to hire students who study in the academic areas of Business Management, Accounting, Finance, and/or Human Resources, although a defined course of study is not necessary. College-level interns are expected to work with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and may have exposure to SAS software. Standard office equipment is used: computer, calculator, copy machine, fax machine, binding machine, etc. Most hired interns exhibit an serious commitment to work by showing up on-time and taking initiative to assist full-time staff with project work. Interns must be US citizens.
