Applicants must have one or two semesters remaining in their
college careers. This requirement ensures that students have a
basic knowledge of the field, but are open to learning in a
business environment. The internship experience at BR enables
stuents to apply prior classroom learning in a real life setting -
and likewise - return to their classrooms in the fall with a
heightened sense of real-world challenges.
A commitment to a career in advertising/marketing is strongly
preferred. It is desirable that applicants embrace interests
outside of the classroom as well, e.g. hobbies, interests,
The internship program offers a balanced experience: Individuals
must demonstrate initiative, and at the same time demonstrate a
willingness to take direction. Individuals must be able to work
both independently and also collaboratively. The mix of client work
plus a major group project allows students an opportunity to
flourish in a variety of scenarios. Interns are guided by mentors
in their respective disciplines.
