Application Process

Applicants should apply directly to our careers website at Students are also strongly encouraged to check with their local university career center to see if there are positions posted to their university career website, and also apply there. Internship applicants should include a resume, a transcript, and their location preferences.

How to submit your job-specific candidate profile online:

  • Click the "Apply Now" button which is located along the right column of the webpage. You will be allowed to perform a specific search in order to see a list of opportunities that match your requirements and submit your job-specific candidate profile on-line. Your first profile submission should take approximately 30 minutes.
  • When you first log in, you will be asked to create a user ID (your email address will become your unique identity in our system) and password. This will allow for the creation of a file that will be available only to you for subsequent profile submissions or changes, making the process faster. Please do not create multiple accounts using different email addresses in our system.
  • The system will allow you to save every page when you move forward using the save and continue button. (Please note that if you use the Exit button, the information on that page will not be saved).
  • You can go into the system and edit your submission prior to the deadline date, as long as the position is still posted.
  • Once you have completed the submission process, you can e-mail yourself a copy using the "Send me my submissions by e-mail" link. This link appears on the final "Thank You" page of the submission. This will allow you to review the submission and revise it if necessary.
  • Submissions received through the system will be automatically acknowledged. Your submission will be reviewed by the recruiting professionals and hiring managers in the offices where you submitted your interest, once the submission deadline passes.
  • If you are selected, you will be contacted either by a Deloitte professional or your placement office regarding next steps and scheduling your campus interview.

Deloitte Consulting LLP looks for computer engineering, finance, economics, actuarial, risk management, statistics/mathematics, operations, supply chain, healthcare administration, business administration, and organizational behavior majors among others. Past work experience is preferred but not required. GPA can vary by position, but generally a 3.4 cumulative or above is required for an internship.

We look for demonstrated leadership, ability to work on a team, and strong analytical and communication skills. We primarily recruit sophomores, juniors and seniors for our summer scholar undergraduate internship program. We recruit advanced degree students for our Summer Associate program. Deloitte hires non-US citizens on an appropriate student or work visa.
