About the Program
Each summer, Putnam hires 10-15 rising seniors from top universities to spend 10 weeks assisting with casework while being exposed to a genuine consulting experience. Joining Putnam as a Summer Associate is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the strategic issues that face today’s pharmaceutical companies, as well as specific changes affecting the healthcare marketplace. Summer interns work in project teams of 4-7 individuals led by a manager or partner.

- “Interviews were straightforward, and interviewers were engaging, was not really a stressful interview process as people were very welcoming and it felt more like a conversation than a scary interview, even when I was doing the cases.”
- “Application process was standard. There was a pre-interview over the phone, a first-round interview that lasted 45 minutes, and a final round super-day interview for around three hours with two cases and a behavioral interview. Applicants were informed all interviews would be standard healthcare case interviews. All interviewers were friendly and engaged. The interviews were not difficult if you prepared for consulting case interviews.”
