The Entertainment Software Association reports that 58 percent of Americans play video games, and sales of computer and video game software reached $14.8 billion in 2012. This increasing demand for challenging and entertaining games creates a steady job market for game producers. Overall, employment in this job should grow at a faster than average rate through the coming decade.
