Although a high school education or other special training is not required for most entry-level positions in the post office, the trend in recent years has been to give preference to high school graduates for beginning postal job appointments. Federal Express service agents must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma (or GED); UPS account executives usually have at least some college education. High school classes that will help you in this career include speech, English, computer science, and geography.
