Nurse Assistants

Employment of nursing assistants is projected to grow 21 percent from 2012 to 2022, faster than the average for all occupations, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Because of the physical and emotional demands of the job, and because of the lack of advancement opportunities, there is a high employee turnover rate. Additional opportunities may be available as different types of care facilities are developed and as facilities try to curb operating costs.
