Industrial Engineering Technicians

Employment for industrial engineering technicians is expected to decline through 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Labor, primarily because of expected declines in manufacturing industries, such as computer and electronic products, machinery manufacturing, and  transportation equipment. Opportunities will be best for individuals who have up-to-date skills. As technology becomes more sophisticated, employers will continue to seek technicians who require the least amount of additional job training.
