Hotel Desk Clerks

According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, employment of hotel desk clerks is expected to grow about as fast as the average for all careers through 2022. Jobs will be most plentiful with hotels located in busy urban areas, where there tend to be higher turnover rates. Opportunities will also be good at extended-stay and budget hotels. Hotel desk clerks at these facilities are generally responsible for a wider range of duties, such as business and concierge-related services.
