Furniture Designers

Little or no employment change is expected for commercial and industrial designers who work in furniture and related product manufacturing through 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Openings will result from slight growth in the field as well as the need to replace designers who leave the industry. Demand for furniture designers will increase slightly because a growing number of consumers are interested in purchasing furniture that is not just utilitarian but also fashionable and stylish.
