Forensic Engineers

Employment for engineers varies by specialty. For example, job opportunities for civil and environmental engineers are expected to grow faster than the average for all careers through 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Slower-than-average employment growth is predicted for mechanical engineers. Steady employment for forensic engineers is expected because workers with this type of specialized technical expertise are in short supply.
