Explore Professions » Drywall Installers and Finishers
The U.S. Department of Labor predicts that employment for drywall installers and finishers will grow about as fast as the average for all careers through 2024. This growth is due to the many new construction projects resulting from population growth and the expected increase in home remodeling projects. A high rate of turnover in this field means replacement workers are needed every year. In addition, drywall will continue to be used in many kinds of building construction, providing a demand for workers.
