Digital Designers

Employment for qualified digital designers is expected to grow faster than the average for all occupations through 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). The DOL predicts that "employment of graphic designers in computer systems design and related services is projected to grow 35 percent over the same period. With the increased use of the Internet, graphic designers will be needed to create designs and images for portable devices, websites, electronic publications, and video entertainment media." Clearly, as computer graphic and Web-based technology continues to advance, there will be a need for well-trained digital designers.
