Cosmetic Surgeons

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the demand for surgeons is expected to grow by 20 percent from 2014 to 2024, or much faster than the average for all careers. Because of population trends that include a rapidly aging population, physicians who meet the needs of older Americans can expect to see a steady demand for their services. Cosmetic surgeons, who treat conditions associated with aging and help older people maintain a youthful appearance, can be counted among medical specialists who will be in strong demand by the aging baby boomer population.
