Corporate Community Relations Directors

Strong community relations and outreach play a key role in the success of businesses today. In the wake of corporate scandals, consumers are holding corporations to higher standards in exchange for their customer loyalty. As a result, corporate community relations directors will be in demand as corporations seek to educate the media, government agencies, and the public about the actions of their companies and their community outreach programs. The U.S. Department of Labor predicts that the employment of public relations and fund-raising managers is projected to grow 7 percent from 2014 to 2024, about as fast as the average for all occupations. Individuals with experience and skill in digital and social media will have better odds of securing work.
