Color Analysts and Image Consultants

Employment opportunities for personal appearance workers are expected to grow 13 percent from 2012 to 2022, about as fast as the average for all occupations, according to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, mainly due to increasing population, incomes, and demand for cosmetology services. While opportunities for color analysts and image consultants will be good, they will not be as strong as the outlook for other personal appearance workers because the field is small and there is strong competition for jobs.
