Bicycle Mechanics

Cycling continues to gain in popularity. People are bicycling for fun, fitness, as a means of transportation, and for the thrill of racing. Bikes don't burn gas or pollute the environment, and they are relatively inexpensive and versatile. With personal fitness and the preservation of the environment as two of the nation's biggest trends and concerns, the bicycling industry looks to a positive future. The U.S. Department of Labor predicts that employment for bicycle mechanics will grow much faster than the average for all careers through 2024.
