Aeronautical and Aerospace Technicians

The U.S. Department of Labor predicts little or no employment change for aeronautical and aerospace technicians through 2022. There will continue to be opportunities for technicians as manufacturers seek to design aircraft that are quieter and more fuel efficient. Fewer opportunities will be available with government agencies, but the number of jobs in the private aerospace industry will grow as companies such as SpaceX develop manned and unmanned spacecraft.
