Demand for advertising workers will grow as a result of increased production of goods and services, both in the United States and abroad. Network and cable television, radio, newspapers, the Internet, and certain other media (particularly interactive vehicles) will offer advertising workers an increasing number of employment opportunities. Some media, such as magazines, direct mail, and event marketing, are expected to provide fewer job opportunities.
