Wild Planet Toys is in the business of fun and imagination. The company develops and manufactures toys, including its best known Spy Gear line and popular Spy Video ATV. Other products include pirate toys (A Pirate's Life), pool toys (Outdoor Antics), creature construction kits (Skeleflex), and flashlights that transform into toys (Liteformz). Its toys are distributed in more than 50 countries at mass-market retail stores. The company was founded in 1993 by CEO Danny Grossman. Wild Planet is working to expand its toy collection through licensing agreements.
In 2009 the company penned a licensing deal with Walt Disney for Smart Step! Games, an educational toy line based on its Mickey Mouse Clubhouse TV series. Debuting later that year, the toy line is composed of sequence-building memory games that feature Disney characters. Wild Planet also worked with Crayola beginning in 2008 to develop Crayon Town construction activity kits. The kits come packed with crayons and pop-up pieces that can be colored and used to build a 3-D airport, construction site, horse ranch, and zoo.
