Granite Telecommunications is looking for rock solid growth as a
reseller of telecommunications services to commercial clients in
the US and Canada. The company is a wholesaler of local and long
distance telephone service, as well as broadband Internet
connections, over 1.3 million lines provided by network operators.
It serves corporate clients, many of whom run offices in
multiple states, offering them no account transfer charges and no
term or volume contracts on telephone service. Granite also designs
and installs network cabling and security systems and provides loss
prevention and risk management services.
Granite serves clients across Canada and the US from offices in
Florida, Massachusetts, Georgia, New York, and Rhode Island.
The company serves more than 4,840 corporate clients in more
than a half a million locations. Its customers include most of the
US Fortune 100 companies, and its customer retention rate is more
than five times higher than the industry average. It has about 1.4
million phone lines; about 1.3 billion lines are business lines and
100,000 are data lines. The company uses copper wiring found in
traditional telecommunication networks, which provide reliable and
cost-effective service. Granite's subsidiary, Granite Guard, is a
leading provider of loss prevention and risk management services
solely for businesses.

10,000-square-foot office in New York City to meet an expected
increase in business. It reached an agreement with AT&T in
which AT&T will continue to supply telephone and data service

broadband connections in the US and Canada.
