not much growth for non-technical people, too much churn, constant fear of layoff
need to be clear on what group you are being hired for

Most people are quite skilled. Many employees come from corporate acquisitions. Salary was quite good.
Technologies used on projects can be outdated. Expectation of management in US (Irving, TX) is to work nights and weekends to deliver your tasks.
If mid-career, look elsewhere. For new college hires, you can use IBM for two or three years to learn from senior people, but should move on to bigger and brighter futures.
